Wherever you are in the British Isles you will never be far away from a Lion. There are more that 900 Lions clubs in the British Isles with more than 17000 members.
Lions are ordinary people doing extraordinary things to help others and to support good causes in their area with every penny raised going to good causes. All Lions clubs administrative costs are covered by the members annual subscriptions.
The Lions Clubs International is the largest service member organisation in the world with over 1.4 million members in more than 46000 clubs in 207 countries.
Because all clubs are local with global membership, community challenges can be met wherever they occur in the world, such as natural disasters. Assistance can quickly be deployed through the local Lions club.
