Lions clubs help local communities in a number of ways with every penny collected going direct to good causes. Not one penny is spent on administration as members fund all Lions club running costs.

From fun-filled community activities to running fund-raising events Lions clubs are busy at the heart of local communities.  We raise money in many creative and traditional ways to make a real difference to the lives of ordinary people who need our help.

Local needs, donations, service and volunteering

Working with local communities, Lions clubs make financial donations to help local individuals, groups or good causes. Lions clubs also responding to local needs in a flexible way by doing good deeds and as volunteers, members of Lions clubs make things happen that would not otherwise take place.

Lions clubs may provide personal help lasting a minute or two, or at local or regional events to support air ambulances, managing flood damage repairs, or helping out at local community events in steel-capped shoes, Lions clubs can be relied upon to be at the heart of the action.

Community fund raising

Lions clubs are experts at a wide range of fund raising events from, Summer fetes to Christmas fayres, make and bake, they run raffles and bingo and organise charity auctions and jumble sales.
