The Liskeard Lions have been serving Liskeard and district for over 50 years. We run events throughout the year raising funds for local, national and international causes.

Last night I presented the Liskeard Lions with a scroll of appreciation from our Town in celebration of the 50 years of service they have given.
Wheelchairs & Walking Aids
The Lions Club of Liskeard have purchased wheelchairs that are regularly serviced and available free of charge for dedicated short term use.
These wheelchairs have proved invaluable to holidaymakers and residents that require an interim solution to getting around and visiting sights and events. They may also facilitate attendance at a specific occasion, function, hospital appointment or to support during a post-operative recovery.
They are transportable in a car boot, but we respectfully ask that all security features such as footplates and arms are used at all times. This is free of charge. On occasions some people have asked to make a donation. This is not compulsory.
Should you want to make further enquiries, please contact us either via this website or on our Facebook page?
Common sense and a sense of humour are two traits found in abundance among members of Lions clubs, whatever the weather.
Our main activities are:
We have a catering van with which we support various events throughout the year
When it comes to making things happen in local communities, we assist with road closures, traffic control, marshaling, car parking and provide catering facilities as well as putting on our own events. We help other organisations with their activities and may reciprocate to help ours.
The Lions Club of Liskeard is part of Lions Clubs International which is the largest service club organisation with 1.4 million members and over 46,000 clubs around the world. Lions support good causes in their area with every penny raised going to those good causes.
