How we have served

Throughout this website you can read about the many different ways the Lions are making a difference in local communities. With more volunteers in more places than any other service club organisations, the Lions love to help others and make things happen in local communities across the British Isles and Ireland and throughout the world.

Liskeard Lions supporting the Community.

Liskeard Lions President Martin Symonds pledges £250 to Kieran Owen and Charlie Buckley who are raising money for Young Lives vs Cancer and Molly Olly’s Wishes, who are supporting the friend Barney during his treatment.

Defibrillator Update, January 2016

Two units have been installed in Liskeard, one at the Public Hall and one at the Royal British Legion.  One unit has also been installed at St Cleer.

Two more units are about to be installed in Liskeard.

Mar 2015 - Defibrillators for Liskeard

The launch of the Liskeard Lions campaign to help FLEET buy defibrillators for Liskeard. The lions handed over a cheque to purchase the next defibrillator. Liskeard scouts then joined their fundraising efforts in the town.

OUR PROJECTS

In 2015 the major project for the Liskeard Lions was to provide public access defibrillators for the town.

The target is for 5 units at a cost of £3000 each. We are also providing defibrillators at Dobwalls and St Cleer.
